"Quiz Results"
OK, budding stalker, admit it – you check out the folks you date. You
want to know what they’re up to or if they’re dating anyone else. You
may
become friends with their friends or research the facts they’ve told
you about
themselves. Will you own up to this behavior? Probably not all of it.
Tread
carefully before your desire to know all – without going directly to
the source
– takes over and you become one of “those girls.”

About Playing Coy
Budding stalkers walk the line between blanket trust and total paranoia
until something brings those niggling insecurities
to life… and then you can come dangerously close to being a
professional
stalker (even in a bad economy, this is not an occupation we endorse).
Since your
imagination might run wild more often than it walks at a
normal pace, our concern is that you must find a way to temper your
need to
know. With the bombardment of social media and its built-in ways to
check up on
people these days, online behavior can act almost like an aphrodisiac
to your
budding stalker DNA. It’s sad but true – clickety-clicking your way to
answers
about the guy you’re dating can become your vice, your substance of
choice. We
say: Give up the mouse and go back to chocolate.
DIO Dating Tip:
Rather than
trying to dig up information about your potential beau online or
through others,
go face-to-face to ask him your questions. We know you wouldn’t do this
in a
confrontational way, of course. You’ll get greater satisfaction from
hearing
the answers directly from him than you would by getting them any other
way.
When
it comes to love you are a true believer, maybe even an
old-fashioned romantic (though there may be a little bit of a cynic in
you that
just won’t pipe down). You may even enjoy looking
to the stars for some direction. Maybe you
feel like you need to “innocently” stalk someone just to protect
yourself… or,
rather, to protect your heart. Who came blame you? Self-preservation is
important.
But if you don’t have trust, if you don’t put a little bit of faith in
others,
when love eventually does find you it may feel like it has no place to
nest. So
start building a cozy place for your heart to fall head over heels.
Disclaimer:
We completely endorse
being safe when you’re dating someone new, be it online
or
offline. Are you doing it at a healthy
level?
