Oh, OK, then if that’s the case, listen up: compatibility tests are a way for you to check off the must-haves on your “significant other shopping list.” In fact, this is your opportunity to fill up the shopping cart completely.

If you’ve done online dating in the past without giving the compatibility sites a fair shake, you’ve probably muttered a few times to yourself, “Why do the wrong people contact me all the time?”

You can limit the “wrong” connections by taking compatibility measurements a little more seriously. Sure, it takes a significant amount of time to answer all of those questions but here’s the truth: we believe you have a better shot of finding the right person if there is a scientific formula involved. Another reality: do budget an hour of time to make it happen because it will take you a while to fill out the questionnaire. Think about it – you’re not the only person who’s going through this long, drawn-out process. So back to the beginning. Yes, we do think that compatibility tests make a difference. They’re worth it. They help streamline your results. If the sites you sign up with come back and say “no matches for you,” that doesn’t mean you’re an unlovable loser who’s destined to roam the earth alone forever. Sure it might sting a little to be told that no one is available who matches your compatibility profile. But try to keep it in perspective – there’s no one at the moment who is using their matching service that fits your shopping cart. Maybe next month there will be. Maybe another “grocery store” will have a subscriber who is meant for you.

Life is full of rejections. And maybes. But, no matter what, there are always possibilities. Taking a compatibility test just gets you one step closer.
