That
white light is shining directly on you. But as a done time stalker, unfortunately, you don’t care. You’ll justify, justify,
justify that you’re
not doing anything wrong. You’ll deny, deny, deny that you’re guilty of
stalking.
You believe wholeheartedly that you’ve never done anything out of line
and you
resent the accusation. You’re the scariest kind of stalker… the one who
can’t
acknowledge and won’t admit that your DNA is filled with the sneaky,
stalkery
kind of molecules. There’s help for you. We hope…

our quiz: Are You a Stalker? Then you might want to take the quiz yourself
to see just what
kind of stalker you might be.
More About Self-denial
So you’re the one who’s been busted for stalking but keeps doing it
anyway. You’re the one who hasn’t learned your lesson. The worst part
of your
stalking behavior is that you have the tendency to make up the answers
to your
questions. You see something in the person you’re dating and convince
yourself
that it’s something else. You’ve already decided there’s something to
find.
And, dag nabbit, you’re gonna find it.
Red
flag! Red flag! It can’t feel good to violate the rights of others
and put your nose in where it doesn’t belong. Would you want someone
doing that
to you?
We
are more than willing to acknowledge that your done time stalker status
could
very well indicate that someone or something along the way has turned
you into
a person who trusts nothing. But that still begs the question of
whether or not
your behavior is stemming from insecurity.
If so, that means no one will ever get the chance to be your Edward
Cullen because you’ve already convinced yourself that there’s
stuff to dig
for… and even more to be found. In the words of Dr. Phil, How’s that workin’ for ya?

Dating Tip: Aspire to
create a balance between dating
smart
and believing that someone who’s trustworthy can come into
your life. Stay smart. Keep your ears open. And vow to bury the
binoculars.
Your whole world is not a Rear Window
(or Disturbia, if you prefer modern
Hollywood
to the
classics).
If you find the
negative as often as you look for it, then that’s the
universe working with you for sure. How do you think life might flip
around if
you started looking for positive things instead? Oooo… powerful.
If
you prove yourself right (and we use the word “right” very loosely)
before anyone has the opportunity to do you wrong, you may as well stop
dating
altogether (a sure sign of a done time stalker). Yet we still think there’s hope.
That’s why you’re here, right?
Disclaimer: We completely endorse
being safe when you’re dating someone new, be it online
or
offline. Are you doing it at a healthy
level?
