"Somebody to Love"
"Cupid and Santa and New Year's, Oh Puh-leeze!"
Holidays
are overrated, particularly if you’re looking for somebody to love. We

Take Valentine’s Day for instance – all the giant Snoopy cards with
fluttering
hearts, the lovey-dovey greeting cards with a four-page spread of sappy

thankful… just like New Year’s is a time to recapture hope.
So
let’s celebrate the heart that pounds in your chest, the wonderful you
that you
are. Every day can be a holiday for you and your embraceable flaws.

red and pink (and bruised?) muscle may not be thump-thump-thumping for
a
significant other at the moment, there are plenty of people you love in
this
life, from your parents to your siblings to your best friend to your
devoted
pet to the goofy neighbor who drops off a batch of brownies for no
reason every
blue moon.
Whether
you’re looking for someone to love, whether you’re p-o-ed at Cupid, or
whether
you’ve found your soul mate, let’s celebrate love, and the promise of
it…
