It’s fabulous that there’s a holiday meant to celebrate love, but people do tend to get carried away.

While that red and pink (and bruised?) muscle may not be thump-thump-thumping for a significant other at the moment, there are plenty of people you love in this life, from your parents to your siblings to your best friend to your devoted pet to the goofy neighbor who drops off a batch of brownies for no reason every blue moon.
